35 Scoops

In our case, the Royal George a la George; named after the orginal owner. We didn't know quite what to expect since there is no description. But somehow it trumps the World's Largest Terrapin Sundae (which comes in the largest clam shell dish and costs $35). While waiting for the Royal George to appear six boats of toppings were brought over. Three of hot fudge, three of caramel and a pile of wafer cookies, which were promptly devoured. And then it was set down in front of us. Mint, strawberry, pistascio, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, banana goodness. And it was all a little bit of soup by the end. I was quite proud of our prowess. Matt was very sorry he had ordered food to begin with. But as there is a separate stomach for ice cream he was fine and gorged himself along with the rest of us. I was very happy with our choice. There couldn't have been a nicer reception anywhere.
